Hooray! It's The King's Birthday!

On Kingsday we celebrate the birthday of our king! Happy birthday King Willem-Alexander! In all of the Netherlands there are concerts, open-air markets for kids to sell their toys and the royal family visits one or more Dutch cities for some extra celebrations!

The colors of the Dutch national flag are red, white and blue and the color of our royal family is orange. So every time there is something "royal" to celebrate (like today!) we wave our flags and add an orange banner:

I decided to make some celebratory brooches: flower brooches (orange ánd red/white/blue/orange) and a little festive bow tie!
